I'd repeat the point I made in my Champ review.drill the mounting holes in the phenolic circuit board before finalising component assembly.I've also used ply spacers drilled to let the bolt pass through them under the board to lift it above other mounting nuts etc

I carelessly omitted to solder one end of an underboard connector which resulted in a first trial where the amp sounded like a shrunken version of itself and lost a load of time removing the board to make good.a lesson to double-double check those before final assembly! The components are all top quality and the instructions good though as I've said before not as comprehensive as Mojotones kits.there is a lot of info out there on this circuit though so its easy to clear up any confusion. More amp than I need,wish I'd had it in my playing days!.I built this because I had a nice finger jointed pine cab available that just need a fresh coat of tweed and a bigger cut out to take the deluxe chassis but I'm delighted I did!
